Post Your Cases > LAST with adductor canal

Seizure and VTACH immediately following adductor canal block. Block was unremarkable with negative aspiration for block each time with aspiration. Ultrasound used.

VTACH resolved prior to lipid rescue. Patient given 150 cc of 20% lipid emulsion. Patient needed respiratory support with mask ventilation for about 5 minutes. Spontaneous ventilation returned. Patient eventually aroused but was post ictal (confusion).

Fortunate there seems to be no residual problems at this point.
